Yee

Yees are a eusocial hexapodal omnivorous species. They don’t have true biological castes, but in a pre-advanced tool using society different individuals will tend towards different tasks based on their sizes; larger individuals will tend to leave the safety of the elaborate tree supported nests that they naturally build to search for food and other resources, where smaller individuals are more likely to work on home maintenance or taking care of the needs of the queen and the group’s children.

Any worker has the potential to become a queen through hormonal changes, although adults would rarely do this. Almost all queens are raised to be a queen from childhood.
